Water policy-makers and regulators, water use managers, utility managers, planners and operators, scientists and academics, investing institution professionals, consultants and other water professionals are invited to participate and submit abstracts related to the major challenges of sustainable water management, water security, growing water scarcity, decreasing water quality, and increasing frequency of extreme events. Young water professionals are also most welcome, and encouraged to participate.

Submitted papers will be presented in oral or poster platforms, and selected papers will be peer reviewed to be published in scientific journals.
Procedure for Submission
Authors may submit online an extended abstract (max. 800 words) in a standard format.
The following information should be included in your submission:

Author’s name and affiliation;

Topic;
-
Title of presentation;
-
Preferred type of presentation (oral or poster);
-
Three to five Key Words (to help with identification);
-
Contact person’s e-mail address, postal address, and telephone and fax numbers.
On the basis of the proposals submitted, a review will be undertaken to select papers for presentation (oral or poster). Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review in order to prepare the full papers.
Submissions should demonstrate special contribution to the advance in knowledge regarding the conference topics. At least one author for each selected paper must register and attend the conference to present the paper.
Authors must meet their own expenses to attend the conference.
Paper Publication
The approved oral and poster presentations can be downloaded via the Conference website, exclusively for the registered participants. Publication in this website will require at least one registered author for the Conference, in order to be posted.
Selected papers may be published in IWA Journals. Paper selection will be based on merit and will be decided by the Conference Scientific and Program Committee from poster and oral presentation full papers.
The feasibility of publishing a book after the Conference with selected state-of-the art reports, invited speakers presentations, outputs of panel discussions and authors collaboration on a selected number of themes will be considered by the Scientific and Program Committee, based on the merit and completeness of the materials produced for and during the Conference.
