While the main topic of this meeting will be wide-field surveys, participants are welcome to present their work covering all areas of stellar pulsation research, including theory and asteroseismology.

Tour to ALMA – Chajnantor

This is a 4-hour trip commencing in San Pedro driving approximately 50 km east to the ALMA gate at 2,900 meters above sea level. Then, to the OSF (Operations Support Facilities) where paramedics will check your current health status and will give the go-ahead to continue the journey to the AOS (Array Operations Site) at the Chajnantor plateau.

Please note: you will not be allowed to continue your trip to the plateau if you are not considered fit to go (blood mercury level maximum 140 mcg, and 100 heartbeats per minute). The drive from the OSF to the Array Operations Site (AOS) and APEX, located at 5,000 meters, takes about another 50 minutes (~25 km).
