22nd Los Alamos Stellar Pulsation Conference Series Meeting

After claiming your luggage and going through customs and the Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero, SAG check, you must go to the National Terminal to check in for your flight to Calama. Upon arrival at the Calama airport, Aeropuerto El Loa, an event representative will be waiting for you to lead you to the buses that will take you to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, which is a 2 hour drive.

 

Please note: The bus service to San Pedro de Atacama, arranged for you by the Conference Management team, is available only if you arrive on November 27 to Calama.
 

We ask that in the Registration form you specify your Arrival Date, Time, Airline and Flight Number. If that is not possible upon registration, please send an email with that information to: pulsation2016@contactochilecom.cl

 

If you choose to arrive on an earlier date to Calama, you may use any one of the four available bus services (Transfer Pampa, Transvip, TransLicancabur, Tandem) to San Pedro de Atacama found outside the Arrival Gate at Aeropuerto El Loa.

VERY IMPORTANT: The National Agriculture and Livestock Service (SAG) requirements for Chile are very strict. Every passenger arriving in Chile must declare all plant and animal products, as they may contain pests and/or diseases that could seriously damage the country’s agriculture. All persons above the age of 18 must fill out the joint CUSTOMS-SAG form that will be given to you before you arrive in Chile.
